ANDRE ULRICH (ANDY) JOSEPH DUPRAS Andre Dupras passed away on March 7, 2008 at the age of 88 years at the Creston Valley Hospital. Andre was born on October 13, 1919 in Lorne, MB and attended school in St. Claude, MB. He married Madeleine Potvin in Somerset, MB on April 23, 1940. Andre also served in the Canadian Army during the Second World War until he was discharged in 1945. Andre is predeceased by his mother Victorine, father Xavier, daughter Yvette, brothers, Joseph, Eugene, Laurent, Rene, Marc, and Damien, as well as numerous other family members. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 67 years, Madeleine, eight children, Jeanette (Bob), Albert (Neomee), Alice (Fred), Therese (Peter), Charles (Shirley), Ronald (Patricia), Raymond (Julie), and Brenda (Hassan), brother Leo, sister Julienne Souque, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends. By request of Andre, cremation has already occurred and a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of British Columbia, Box 723, Creston, BC V0B 1G0. The family would like to send out a special thank you to the staff of Pioneer Villa and Swan Valley Lodge as well as to the doctors and nurses of the Creston Valley Hospital.
