TEDDY WILLIAM RAWLUK June 28, 1947 - March 8, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and a friend. He is survived by his wife Katherine of 31 years. His children Jeff (Karla), James (Paula), Ryan (Tammy), Jason (Christiane), and Alison (Keith). Grandchildren Krista, Serena, Dylan, Justin, Logan, Rylie, and Lukas. His sisters Pat Zink (Howard), Helen Stark (Lance), and Shirley Fontaine (Paul) and brothers Art (Gail), Melvin (Camilla), and Raymond (Bev) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. We would like to send a special thank you to Ted's close friends Ken and Linda Bumstead, and Alvin and Debbie Thomas. Ted was born in St. Martin, MB to Bill and Caroline Rawluk who have since predeceased him, and his first wife Zenna. Ted worked for Manitoba Hydro as an Electrical Technician for a great part of his life with the best times spent at Jenpeg. Ted loved to keep busy with his many hobbies including model cars, woodworking and his antique cars. But above all, his greatest pleasure was his family. We wish to thank the doctors and nurses for the special help at Cancer Care Manitoba and to the Selkirk General Hospital to the nurses who helped in such a difficult time. In accordance with Ted's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a service to honour his life will be held at The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 6088 Main St. in Selkirk, on Tuesday, March 25, at 1:00 p.m. A private family internment will take place at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined, but if you so wish, a donation to Cancer Care Manitoba in Ted's memory is appreciated.
