Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE FELEWICH (nee ZAKALUK) October 6, 1942 - March 13, 2008 Peacefully on March 13, 2008, at the age of 65, with her family by her side. Marie was predeceased by her parents Phillip and Eva Zakaluk, brother Morris Zakaluk, sisters, Anne Misurka and Stella North. Marie will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband Mike, daughter Janice (Bill) Wilson, son Kelly, mother-in law Mary Felewich, brother Walter (Tina), sisters-in-law Pauline, Phyllis (Larry) Fedorchuk, Dorren (Arnie) Otto; brother-in-law Al (Dale) Felewich, grandchildren, Erica, Serena and Matthew. Marie was born on October 6, 1942 in Stony Hill, Manitoba. She attended grade school in Stony Hill and high school in Elma, Manitoba. Marie married her lifelong friend Mike on November 4, 1961 and lived in the St. James area for 13 years, then moved to Transcona in June 1974. They celebrated 46 years of marriage. Marie was a member of St. Michael's Parish and was active in St. Michael's Pastoral Care Group, also a volunteer at the Children's Ward of the Health Sciences Centre. Funeral Mass will be at St. Michaels Ukrainian Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 10:00 a.m., with Father Michael Krochak officiating. Pallbearers will be Paul Granger, Peter Andrychuk, Tristan Otto, Ken Jacobs, Matthew Wilson and Jeff Fedorchuk. Interment will be at the Ukrainian Cemetery in Elma, Manitoba Thank you to my family, friends and neighbours, like flowers being tended in a garden, you tended to me by offering mass, communion, healing of the ill. All your phone calls, visits, food, baking and flowers, and thank you to the doctors and nurses on the 3rd floor at the Concordia Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marie's name to The Children's Hospital. Love is unconditional and yours surely has been.
