VIOLET LILLIAN JOHNSON (nee STRAND) It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Violet on March 12, 2008 at the age of 93. Violet was born in Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba on February 17, 1915. Left to remember her are her son Russell, daughter-in-law Joan, and her grandchildren Karin and Brent. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred and many of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sister Edna Warren of Winnipeg. Violet enjoyed attending events and activities with the West End Senior's Centre and Labatts Manitoba Pensioners Club. She worked for 30 years as a sales clerk at the Hudson Bay Company. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at later date.
