Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGUSTAVE JOSEPH DESLAURIERS It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gus on Thursday, March 13, 2008. He was born in Laurier, Manitoba April 6, 1939 and lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba until retiring in Cranbrook, British Columbia. Ever the outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, hiking, golfing and most of all spending time with his beloved family and friends at Lake Metigoshe and Greenbay Resort. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Phillip, his three children, Kevin (Barbara), Michelle Forbes, and Chantelle (Terry) Gray, stepsons Michael Collinson (Deanne) and Brady Collinson (Sara), Grandchildren Christal, Daniel, Alex, Grant, Janelle, Mackenzie, Nicole, Faith, Kennedy and Carter, his brother Claude, sisters Marie-Paule (Lionel) and Toni (Blair). A service and reception to celebrate Gus' life will be held at McPherson Funeral Chapel in Cranbrook, British Columbia on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
