JAMES (JIM) FRANCIS DICKSON Peacefully, with family at his side, on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at the Portage District General Hospital, James Jim Francis Dickson of Rossendale, Manitoba, beloved husband of Vera Dickson, passed away at the age of 76 years. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Saturday, March 22 at 1:00 p.m. with Wilma Shirriff officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Rossendale Cemetery. Predeceased by his parents, son-in-law Greg Dobbin, he leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Vera; three children: daughter Lynda Dobbin-Turner and husband (Cecil), and children, Shane, Lisa, Kathy, Bill, John, Bianca, Anthony; daughter Joanne (Jeff) Watson and children, Jamie, son Michelle, Richard; Michael (Mim) and son Andrew. Also surviving is one sister Bev (Kelvin) Stewart of Winnipeg and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
