WALTER FURNESS It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Walter, on Saturday, March 15, 2008, beloved husband of Lillian Furness. He leaves his sons, Chuck (Rhona), Gordon (Grace); three grandchildren, Kyle, Michael, and Ashley also sister-in-law Linda Furness and family and numerous relatives in England. He was predeceased by his parents Martha and Charles Furness; brother Gordon; sister-in-law Nora; and brothers-in-law, Charles and Arthur. Dad was a very private person but if you had him for a friend that would be for life. A good worker and provider, doing the best for his family, for his one aim in life was to give his sons and his wife all the comforts he could, which he did by his love and concern for their welfare. Not a man to demonstrate his affection, but we know that in his own way he loved us. Finally Dad, peace has come which you longed for from your suffering. We shall keep you close in our hearts forever and remember and love you always. Lillian, Chuck, Gordie, Rhona, and Grace. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
