Lucille grew up in St. Jean Baptiste and married Georges Demers of St. Elizabeth. They moved and settled in Haywood, MB, very early in their marriage in 1946 to settle on a farm just north of the town of Haywood. Lucille's entire married life was dedicated to her husband, family and the farm. Retirement came in the early 80's and they built a home, moved to town, and enjoyed another 20 years together, going on holidays and spending time as senior citizens in the Haywood community. The final move was to Winnipeg in 2000, to an apartment in St. Vital which they shared for three years until Georges passed in 2003. Lucille spent her widowed years visiting with family and her wonderful circle of friends at the Appleton Estates. Her short illness ended abruptly and she is gone to God and to meet up with Georges. Your children and families will miss you and love you both forever. Prayers will be said 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. E. at Navin Rd.
