PETER (PAMPY) ROUSSIN 1918 - 2008 It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Peter Roussin on March 20, 2008 at the age of 89 years. He passed away peacefully at the St. Joseph's Residence with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his wife Mae on April 11, 1997. He is survived by his daughter Irene (Bob) Hart and their children, Bob, Jim and Glynis (Anthony); son Peter (Pat) and their children, Nicole (Tom) and Brent (Rea), daughter Hazel (Rod) McLure and their children, Jaymie (Rob) and Kim and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his special nieces Peggy Rostosky, Peggy Sajdowitz and special nephew Ernie Smith and their families. Dad was born in Winnipeg on July 20, 1918 and resided in Winnipeg all his life. Dad worked hard all his life and retired after 45 years from the Florist Delivery Service. Mom and Dad travelled extensively throughout Canada and the U.S. and in later years enjoyed their winter trips to Florida. Viewing will be held Monday, March 24, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, with Father Michael Koryluk officiating. Interment to follow in the Assumption Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. Dad is finally reunited with his wife Mae (Baby) after a very sad and lonely 11 years. Thanks to the staff at St. Joseph's Residence for taking such good care of our special Dad for the last 3 years. God bless you Dad. You will live deep in our hearts forever.
