BARBARA JANINE DEARBORN We regret to announce the passing of Barbara Dearborn on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 48 years. She will be missed by her father Avery, and her brothers, Craig (Cathy), Randy (Mary-Jane), and Dale (Brenda) also by her grandmother Irene Dearborn. Barbara was predeceased by her mother (Connie) and her youngest brother Tim. Barbara was born July 24, 1959 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was a long time resident at the Manitoba Development Centre in the Groveby cottage. This was her home and she was known as Barbie by all who knew and loved her. One of her favorite pastimes was listening to the therapy music. There will be a gathering to celebrate Barbara's life on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 1:30 pm at the Aspen Centre of MDC with Chaplain Ron Siemens officiating. Interment will be at a later date at the Morris Cemetery. The Dearborn family would like to thank the Manitoba Development Centre for their many years of wonderful care and compassion shown to Barbie. We would also like to thank the many people that helped to get us through this difficult time.
