DOROTHY GRACE MCCARTHY (nee MORRISON) It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Dorothy McCarthy on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at the young age of 77 years. She was predeceased by her brothers, Tommy and Norman; sisters, Mae, Jessie, and Mary and parents, Tom and Maggie. She leaves to mourn her husband Austin; children, Terry and Ken McCarthy; daughters-in-law, Lorna and Laurie; grandchildren, Kerry Epps, Robert, Thomas and Kevin McCarthy; great-grandchildren, Joel, Lucas and Matthew Epps along with numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends and neighbors. She will be sadly missed by her very close friends Nadine Clarkson, Elma Krewiak, Nonie Spence and Helen Want. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, 309 Eveline St., Selkirk. Interment will be held at St. Clements Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Fund, 6 Donald St, Winnipeg, MB, R5L 0K6.
