HARRY WALTER CHUBEY January 13, 1935 - March 20, 2008 Harry will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Edith; daughter Sherrie (Harry) Ketterer; stepsons, Gordon (Sheila) Trelnuk, Daniel (Lori) Trelnuk; stepdaughters, Elizabeth (Rob) Taylor, Laura (Rick) Kowalski; grandchildren, Jordan, Marilyn, William, Allison, Christopher, Marc, Brandon, Railynne, Jamie, Jessie, Chris; brother Elmer McClelland; sisters-in-law, Margaret Marcotte and Lillian McClelland. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Elsie Chubey; brothers-in-law, James and Donald Marcotte. Harry was born in Winnipeg, MB and was raised and educated in Northwestern Ontario. He began work in the trucking industry at the age of 17 years and drove his last trip March 11 - 15, 2008 at the age of 73 years. He was never happier than when behind the wheel of a big rig with the open road before him. A Celebration of Harry's life will be held at Clandeboye Amalgamated United Church at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 28 with interment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clandeboye United Church Memorial Fund. Heartfelt thanks to to the Selkirk General Hospital Paramedics and Clandeboye Firehall, First Responders, as well as the Emergency Room staff at Selkirk Hospital.
