ELSPETH (ELLY) NEWBERRY (nee WATT) September 25, 1935 - March 23, 2008 Sadly, with great sorrow, our loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend has passed away. She was the loving mother of Doug (Laura), Pam (Dan), Debbie (Dale), Sandy, Tracey (Duane), Scott, Christopher, Angelica and Cynthia; Loving Grandmother of Avery, Breanne, Melissa, Meghan, Michael, Nikki, Kasey, Kali, Ashley, Brittany and Chelsea; and Great-Grandmother of Emily and Andrew. Elly will be sadly missed by her sister Audrey (Dennis) and Aunty Pat. Also cherished with her memory, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews cousins and friends. Elly was also a special mother and mentor to 310 children that entered her life. Elly was predeceased by her husband Ray, mother Jean, father Andy Watt and infant brother Dougie. Elly touched many lives throughout her life and leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held Thursday, March 27 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Elly to CancerCare, Manitoba or St. Amant Centre.
