ANNIE BLUES (nee WILLIAMSON) On Sunday, March 23, 2008, Annie passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital with her family by her side. Remaining to forever cherish Annie's memory are her children, Glen (Donna), Ian (Christine), Patrick (Kathy), Karen (Earl) Ross, William (Alexis); five grandchildren, Kevin, Candace, Jaylene, Tyler and Douglas; four great-grandchildren, Tess, Drew, Chelsea and Samantha; as well as her dog, Chloe and cat, Buddy. She was predeceased by her husband of 31 years, Willie, in 1986 and her parents, Duncan and Marion. Annie was born in Stanley, Scotland on July 26, 1930. She was employed at Canada Drugs for 35 years, until its closure. Annie finished her working career at Nemann's Drugs. On Friday, March 28, Annie's funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Avenue (corner of Mount Royal Road and Ness Avenue). For those who wish parking is available in the Seventh Day Adventist Church parking lot located on Ness Avenue. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at the St. Boniface Cardiac Intensive Care Unit for their compassionate care of our mother. As expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Annie's memory to the St. Boniface Hospital Research Foundation, 409 Tache Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6.
