Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES (JIM) NICHOLSON April 29, 1917 February 7, 2008 With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Jim Nicholson on Thursday, February 7, 2008, at the age of 90. Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He is predeceased by his son Jimmy and sister Jean Dubyna. Jim is survived by his wife Olive (Anderson), brothers, Bill and John, daughter Margaret (Herbert), granddaughter Sherri (Michael), grandson Kevin and great-granddaughter Mikayla. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland Jim immigrated to Manitoba, Canada with his family in 1921. Jim was a veteran of the Second World War and a member of the Royal Winnipeg Rifles. When Jim returned home from the war he had many jobs such as working the rails in Arden, MB, a police officer in Winnipeg and a bus driver for the disabled. There will be no service held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
