FREDA MACHOLZ March 27, 1925 - March 26, 2008 Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Freda passed away Wednesday, March 26th, one day before her 83rd birthday, surrounded by family. Freda was born in Poland and came to Canada at the age of two with her parents. While working at both CPR and Air Canada, she developed lifelong friends with whom she traveled the world and shared many happy memories. She leaves to mourn her brother Art (Bernice), nieces and nephews Cheryl, Wendy, Jeff, Darlene, Kelly, Khristine and Aaron and many great-nieces and nephews. Freda was predeceased by her parents Frederick and Regene, her sisters Ella and Lydia. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later date. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at the Tache Nursing Center. Thank you for your caring and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
