SIDNEY CONNOR HAZELWOOD It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of their loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather at the age of 81. Sid was predeceased by his daughter Patty in 1967, and his son-in-law Edward Singbeil. Dad will be deeply missed by his loving and devoted wife Dora, children Sharon (Ray), Sandra (Louis), Wayne (Debbie), Martin (Kathy), Beth (René), his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many dear, close friends. Dad worked as a Locomotive Engineer with the Canadian National Railway for 41 years. He had many interests such as bowling, square dancing, playing cards, but mainly spending summers at Nutimik Lake in the cabin he built in 1955, and the winters in Texas, as well as various travels and cruises. He also enjoyed doing various volunteer work, and won the Volunteer of the Year Award in Texas. Dad's greatest joy though was spending time with his family. We all know that our dad loved us. Our Dad was a kind, caring, gentle man with a great sense of humour and everyone who met our dad loved him right away. Daddy we love and cherish you, and we'll miss you terribly.
