Left to treasure his memory are his wife Patricia of 62 years, daughter Kim Johnson and grandson Robert, daughter-in-law Lorraine and grandson Marc. He was predeceased by his son Ken, his sister Mary, and his brothers, Stan, Don, and Len. Ray was born in Winnipeg on February 8, 1925. He joined the army at the age of 17 and spent two years overseas in the Second World War. He was a member of Legion #4. Ray worked at Molson Breweries for over 40 years. He was a member of the Shriners' Director Staff and spent many hours raising funds for sick children. He also spent countless hours as a volunteer for the Canadian Hemophilia Society, Manitoba Chapter. Ray was proud of the certificate he received from the Red Cross for over 100 blood donations. Ray loved the outdoors. When we think of him, we think of the cottage in Sandy Hook. The fun and laughter we had there, and the Sunday morning breakfasts will remain with us forever as precious memories. Ray loved to play golf. He leaves behind his many wood carvings which will always be treasured by his family and the other fortunate few who received them. He was always ready for a game of crib. Ray was very proud of both his grandsons Robert and Marc and enjoyed spending time with them and being part of their lives. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Hemophilia Society, Manitoba Chapter, 944 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3G 0R1. A private memorial service will be held. We love you Dad CHAPEL LAWN 885-9715
