HENRY A. REMPEL Henry A. Rempel passed away peacefully with family by his side, on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Lions Prairie Manor, Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, at the age of 81 years. Henry will be remembered by wife Muriel; daughter Erika; son Billy; Doug Poschenrieder; grandson Dustin (Christine); great-grandsons Kieron, Declan and Theron; granddaughter Janelle (Mike); great-grandson Cole; granddaughter Melissa (Charlie); sister Susan; brother Wally (Irene); sisters-in-law Margaret, Tina, Esther and Dorene; brothers-in-law John and Art; many nieces, nephews and his very special Parkside family. Henry was born June 22, 1926 in the Blumenort, Gretna area. He farmed in Plumas, Manitoba. Prior to farming Henry worked for the Hudson Bay Company in northern Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. He spent the past two years at Lions Prairie Manor. Viewing will take place on Friday, April 4, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Clarke's Funeral Chapel, Gladstone, Manitoba. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Plumas United Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lions Prairie Manor Foundation, 24 9th Street SE, Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, R1N 3V4.
