WILLIAM GORDON ELLIOTT It is with great shock and sorrow that we announce the passing of William Gordon Elliott. He passed away unexpectedly in an automobile accident on March 19, 2008, while vacationing in California. He leaves behind to celebrate his life his wife Bev; his daughter Shannon and her husband Neil and grandchildren Celeste and Lauren; his son Brent and his wife Jackie and grandchild Sydney; his brother Howard and wife Vickie; his brother Don and wife Trish, his sister Betty, and Bev's daughter Kim and her husband Mark and grandchild Sarah; plus numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Grace and his sister Eileen. He was a deeply caring man, always looking out for those around him and always willing to lend a hand whenever it was needed. He loved his family and friends and those among that group were fortunate to have had him in their lives. A great husband, father and grandfather, he will be deeply missed. A celebration of his life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on April 5, 2008, at Chartwell Green Clubhouse located at 8737-212th Street in Langley, B.C., for friends and family that wish to attend. There will not be a formal service in memory of Gordon, in keeping with his wishes. There will be a get- together for family and friends in Winnipeg in July. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
