RUTH LOUISE CUNNINGTON (nee BRIGHT) Peacefully on April 3, 2008 at the Victoria Hospital, Ruth passed away at the age of 81. She was predeceased by her parents and all of her brothers and sisters as well as her husband of 53 years Lawrence in 2005. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her children Randy (Myrna), Vickie (Gary) Oige, Barry (Lori), Wayne, and Deborah (Troy). Ruth will also be remembered by her 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren as well as many extended family and friends. Ruth met her husband Larry while nursing in Kenora, ON and they were married at her sister's Emma (Sidney) home in Minnedosa, MB on October 28, 1951. Mom was a homemaker for many years raising her family before returning to work for 7-Eleven until her retirement. Ruth was very active in her community and volunteering at the Orioles Community Center. Mom was an avid reader and spent many evenings at home with a good book. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Interment and Reception will follow. CHAPEL LAWN 885-9715
