RONALD (RON) ELDON GERBRANDT With his family by his side, our father The Silver Fox passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Remaining to forever cherish Ron's memory are his sons Kyle (Mary - Anne) and grandson Simon, Steve (Shelley) and granddaughter Addison and son Michael (Sandy); brother Ray (Eleonore), Ray's children Donna, Ron, Cheryl and their families. He was predeceased by parents Arthur and Dorothy. Ron was born in Saskatoon before moving to Calgary, to attend college, where he met his wife Linda. They moved to Winnipeg to attend university and start their life together. He worked hard at his occupation in architecture. He would, through the years, work for most of the large firms in Winnipeg specializing as a job captain in charge of building hospitals and hospital additions among other projects. His job was his passion and he rarely missed days until forced into retirement due to illness. For service details please see Tuesday, April 8 newspaper edition. Our family wishes to thank the St. Boniface Hospital for the outstanding care Ron received these past five weeks.
