CAROLE ANN LITTLE (nee TROSTERUD) Peacefully and with loved ones by her side, Carole left this world on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Carole is survived and dearly missed by her soul mate and partner William Bill McCullough; sister and best friend Elaine McIntyre (Archie); her nieces/ daughters Leanne (Jeff) and Melanie (Chris) McIntyre; and the light of her life, grand-niece Holly Amber McIntyre; as well as other extended family. Born July 3, 1943 to Ann (nee Ellchuk) and Bill (Tarsten) Trosterud, Carole spent her childhood in West Kildonan, graduating from West Kildonan Collegiate. After graduation, she held various jobs until starting work in the trucking industry with Arnold Brothers in 1975 and later with Kleysen Transport. She retired in 1990. Carole greatly treasured time with family and especially enjoyed weekend getaways with Bill, shopping with her sister and summer trips to the lake. Her great generosity with her time and love will forever be remembered. While Carole nearly spent 1/3 of her life battling cancer, her courage, bravery and cheerful spirit did not falter even at the end of her life. She is truly an inspiration and will be remembered with love and admiration. A memorial service to celebrate Carole's life will take place on Wednesday, April 9 at 10:00 a.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, No. 1 Hwy. E. and Navin Road.
