Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID (BUD) TURNER Passed away at the Portage General Hospital on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, Bud Turner, age 75 years of MacGregor. Predeceased by his parents, his sister Willa Gilchrist, and brother-in-law Benjamin. He will be greatly missed by his sister Claudia Stadnyk (Edward) nieces and nephews Michal Stadnyk (Lisa), Greg Stadnyk, Paul Stadnyk, Shannon Mah (Lance), Diane Marcoux, Alan Gilchrist (Karen), Bruce Gilchrist (Sandy), nine great-nieces and nephews; Amanda, Steven, Lee, Quinn, Kira, Tyler, Stacy, Andrea, and Christian and his great-great nieces and nephews. Bud was born September 27, 1932 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He attended school in St. Vital Manitoba, and then worked 31 years with the Bridge and Buildings Department for Canadian National Railways. He retired in February 1990. In 1989 he built a home on his farm land where he resided until moving to Norfolk Rest Haven in MacGregor in 2006. Bud enjoyed hunting and his annual golf at Clear Lake and Elm Creek. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the MacGregor United Church with Sandra Rex officiating. Interment will take place at Rosehill Cemetery prior to the service. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society.
