SYLVIA EDNA ROTHENBERGER (nee MILLER) Peacefully, with her family by her side, Edna passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital on April 5, 2008. She is survived by her children: Curtis (Linda), his children, Carli and Matthew; daughter Christine and family in Calgary. Edna was born in Okotoks, Alberta, on March 27, 1925. She married John in 1951. She began her nursing career in 1945 and retired as Director of Nursing from Luther Home in 1988. She dedicated her life to helping people. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is now at rest with John. Funeral Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 815 Inkster Blvd., on Thursday, April 10, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Lenise Francis presiding. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edna's name may be made to The Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 9Z9.
