Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIVAN ARJOONLAL DOOKERAN March 30, 1933 - April 20, 2008 In loving memory of our father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. Ivan moved to Canada from Trinidad in 1954 and built a life full of accomplishment in a new land. He and his wife Tara raised a family of five children and as a teacher his knowledge and patience touched the lives of everyone he knew. His time here has come to an end, but his resilient spirit, sense of humour and courage will remain part of each and every one of us forever. Memorial service to be held at the Charleswood United Church, 4820 Roblin Blvd., Tuesday, April 22 (today) at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Ivan and my brother Brian were roomates in Deer Lodge for several years. Brian passed away in February 2008 and it was a great comfort to me and my family to know that his last years were shared with such a fine gentleman. My brother Bob and I regularly visited Brian and at the same time Ivan and we both greatly admired him. Please accept my sincere condolences.
