Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE KAWIUK It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Rose Kawiuk, on April 28, 2008. Rose leaves to mourn her passing two sons, Bill (Sandra), Bob (Marilyn); grandchildren Darren, Brent (Kelly), Brad (Jana), Janis (Daryl), four great-grandchildren, Matthew, Jeremy, Braxtyn, Leiland and one brother, Steve (Helen). She was predeceased by her husband, John in 1979; her parents, Wasyl and Mary Zelizney; four sisters and five brothers. Rose was born near Foam Lake, Saskatchewan on April 9, 1914. Rose and John moved to Winnipeg in 1952. Rose was a quiet, generous and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. The love of her life was her four grandchildren. She could never do enough for them, whether it was cooking or baking their favourite dishes, or just spending time with them. We will always remember her family dinners with special fondness. Mum spent the last two years in Holy Family Home where she was treated with kindness and dignity. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 2 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. with Fr. W. Wasyliw officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brent and Brad Kawiuk, Daryl Ollson, Bruce Marsh, Dean Kolench and Rick Andert. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Family Home or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family would like to thank the evening staff on Unit 7, Seven Oaks Hospital, Holy Family Home, Fr. Wasyliw and Fr. Winn for their kindness and prayers. In blessed sleep grant eternal rest, O Lord, to your ever to be remembered servant, Rose, and make her memory everlasting. CHRYSTOS VOSKRES KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
