MOLLY STEWART After a struggle with many health problems, Molly died peacefully at the Douglas Campbell Lodge on Tuesday, May 6, 2008. She was predeceased by her parents, Lucy and Robert Colvin; her siblings, Kate, Anne, Marj, Bob and Bill; her infant son Jamie; son Dan, and grandson Harley. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Jim; daughters, Sally-Jo (Hal), Margaret Ann (Malcolm); grandsons, Geoff (Tina), Andy (Marcie), Jen (Stephen) and Kate (Cory), great-grandchildren, Caleb, Jill, Dayton, Damien, Gage, Ryder, Austin and Tyler. Molly was a dedicated writer who passed her art on to others through classes and workshops throughout the province. She particularly enjoyed teaching creative writing at a Hutterite Colony and at The Pas where she experienced a healing circle. She looked forward to her workshops at Clear Lake and was honoured to attend the 2001 P.C.I. grad as a guest speaker. Molly liked jazz, New Orleans, Kentucky and the race horses, the Atlantic Ocean, dancing, and was an ardent Jets fan. She looked regal in a dressy hat, but could still use a stovelifter to fix anything. Her apple and pecan pies were always a favourite. She had a genuine interest in the activities of her children and grandchildren. She was a loyal friend and mate, and her unconditional love made her a special mom. Funeral service for Molly will be held on Monday, May 12 at 2:00 p.m. in Trinity United Church with a reception to follow. A private family interment will precede the service. If friends so desire, Memorial Donations to Sunset Palliative Care Inc., P.O. Box 92, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 3A7 would be apprciated.
