ARTHUR NORMAN STEWART (BUD) August 23, 1922 May 25, 2008 Our dear father passed away in Burnaby, BC. on May 25, 2008 at the age of 85. He leaves three sons, Wayne (Jane), John (Vicki), Bob (Laurane) and eight grandchildren to cherish his memory, as well as his sister, Gail Klarer. Mom, (Joan) who was the love of his life, passed away in 1990. Dad was born and raised in Winnipeg. He served in the RCAF during the Second World War and later spent his life working as a salesman, eventually retiring from The Hudson Bay Company. Our father was a kind and gentle soul who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, none more than spending time with his family. For many years, he had a passion for western books and movies and was an ardent supporter of the National Geographic magazine. His grandchildren lovingly remember him for his tall tales and generous hugs. As per Dad's wishes, there will be a private burial in Winnipeg. Flowers are gratefully declined, however, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the ALS Society.
