CLOVER GAIL SOKOLIUK (nee: SWEENEY) March 26, 1945 - June 12, 2008 After a lengthy struggle, Clover passed away surrounded by her family at Concordia Hospital on June 12, 2008 at the age of 63. Clover faced many obstacles, including arthritis, diabetes and heart disease. She was predeceased by her father Norman. She leaves to mourn her passing, her devoted and loving husband Ben, sons Patrick and Michael, daughter-in-law Jen, Mother Mona, brothers Richard and Patrick, mother-in-law Ann and many other relatives and friends. At Clover's request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be shared on Monday, June 16, 2008 in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Ave. West at 7:00 p.m. The family extends heartfelt thanks to all the Home Care and Concordia Hospital staff for the care given to Clover over the past few years. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Clover's name to the Canadian Diabetes Association, The Arthritis Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
