SURENDRA SINGH KHANUJA, B.A., L.L.B. July 22, 1937 to July 19, 2008 In loving memory of our loved one - husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife, Harpreet; children, and spouses - Jaideep and Mae Khanuja; Jasbir and Kanvar Sidhu; Rupi and Andrew; grandchildren Devan and Jeevan Khanuja; Gursimran and Gurshan Sidhu; siblings and spouses: Drs. Ajit and Harwant Singh; Mrs. Harcharan (late Khushbir) Baweja; Mrs. Taran (late Ranbir) Malik; Drs. Jagmit and Amarjit Arneja and many loving nephews, nieces and their families. He was born in Indore, India, where he grew up and completed his B.A. and L.L.B. degrees. He held the post of Magistrate followed by a flourishing law practice in New Delhi, where he was a prominent high court lawyer. Married in 1964, the family moved and settled in Canada in 1976; where he graduated from university of Manitoba with his Canadian law degree at the inspiring age of 43, and went on to establish his own practice. He grew up with strong family values and a strong united family, and this bond was reflected in his relationships with his family and siblings and extended to his nephews, nieces and grandchildren. In his later years, he found solace in his spiritual practice and enjoyed traveling to various spiritual places. A proud father, a doting grandfather, loving brother, forever friend, you will always remain in our hearts and memories. Rest in Peace Papa.
