JOAN ELLIS In the early hours of August 13, 2008 at Riverview Health Centre, Joan passed away after a lengthy illness, she was 85. Joan was predeceased by her husband Gord and her mother-in-law Gladys Ellis. Joan had two daughters, Maureen Kydd of Calgary and Carol Thompson of Winnipeg. She has four grandchildren, Gordon Moffat of Winnipeg, Dana Gibson of Calgary, Jackie Butterill of Winnipeg and Marnie Butler of Toronto, as well as seven great-grandchildren, Andy, Sheldon, Tyler, Reanna, Devin, Dakota and Vanessa. The family would like to thank the staff on 3 East at Riverview for their wonderful care of our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Memorial service will be held on Monday, August 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Riverview Health Care Centre, 1 Morley Ave. East, Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4.
