Went to Travel school with Michelle in Mississauga, Ontario in 1999. She was a great friend. I only found out about her death in 2010. I spoke with Michelle's Mom Janina back then. She came to mind lately. I knew it was the 10th anniversary of her passing but couldn't remember the date. Googled her again and found this site for tributes. Just wanted to do my part in keeping her memory alive. Thank you. Your friend always, Basilio. - Posted by: Basilio (Friend) on: Sep 14, 2016

Michelle was a well known person among my family, I was six the day of her passing and remember well the times that were spent with her. Each time she came over for a visit to see me and my mom she would always bring a little stuffed animal for me. Each time i would give her a kiss on the cheek and say thank you auntie micha (that was her nick name)the day i heard she had passed and went to go see the big man upstairs to bring him a stuffed animal as my mother would say i didnt quite understand what she meant but i still cried with the last stuffed animal in my hands that she ever gave me and with the realization that i wouldnt see her again. eight years later at this moment i still cry holding the last stuffie she ever gave me. Rest in piece auntie micha, i love you. - Posted by: Felicity Taylor-Evans (Family Friend ) on: Jul 11, 2014
