ROSA ALMAZAN MELCHOR (August 29, 1922 August 29, 2008) Rosa passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on her 86th birthday, August 29, 2008. She is survived by her husband Gerardo, seven daughters (in Winnipeg: Rebecca Dale, Zennie Almazan, Maria Vargas, Rosana Sancio; and in the Philippines: Flordeliza Cansanay, Floralinda Banaag, Angelita Dela Cruz) and two sons (in Canada: Nicanor Melchor and in the Philippines: Danilo Melchor). Lamay will be held at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd, Winnipeg, MB. on Saturday and Sunday, September 6 and 7, commencing at 6:00 P.M. and concluding at the request of the family. Prayers will be said at 7:00 P.M. on Saturday evening with Monsignor Enrique Samson officiating. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 10:00 a.m. at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church 748 Keewatin St. Monsignor Samson Celebrant.
