Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMRS. LUCY GOTCH With deepest sorrow our family announces the passing of our deeply loved wife, mother and friend Lucy Gotch on Saturday, September 06, 2008. Left to cherish her memory are daughter Nancy and son Mark and relatives. Lucy was born in Winnipeg, February 13, 1928, the eldest of six children. Lucy was taught commitment to family. Lucy was a kind hearted happy person who loved life and people. She met and married her husband, the love of her life Norman Gotch in July 1952. Soon thereafter the fulfillment of marriage was achieved, having two children Nancy and Mark. Lucy like her mother, always thought of her family first, and was very committed to her husband, children, home and property. Lucy was a person of presence, beauty, and personality. She saw and taught her children to see and appreciate the beauty of every facet of the natural world around them. Lucy lived, laughed and loved. Hers was a life that was complete and fulfilled. Our memories of whom and what you were will never fade. You will be in our hearts forever. 40 years of living through the ravages of the disease of diabetes ultimately brought you to your end. But no matter who or what tried to break or take your spirit never succeeded. Proud to call you our mother, wife and friend to the end. Forever Lucy your spirit will live on. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, with viewing to begin one half hour prior to service. Interment to follow in the Garden of Devotion, Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
