Peacefully on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the Brampton Civic Hospital after celebrating her fourth 21st birthday. Beloved wife of the late Bob Groves. Loving mother of Susan Haire and her husband Alan and of Jane Goulden and her husband Stephen. Cherished grandmother of Michael, Alia and Summer. Greatly missed by her brother Rob Castle. Predeceased by her brother Jack Castle. Irene will be remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends both here and in England. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home Brampton Chapel , 52 Main St. S. (Hwy. 10) on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A celebration of Irene's life will be held in the Ward Chapel on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation at a later date.
