BYRON DYCK (RON) We announce the passing of Byron Dyck on October 4, 2008 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Byron will be remembered by his wife of 39 years, Eileen; daughter Marsha; sons, Ronnie and David; cherished niece Christine Collett; brother-in-law Les Collett. He was predeceased by his only sister Rose in 1988; mother; Shirley Howard in 2005. Byron was born on December 14, 1957 at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, MB. He worked for Collett Electronics for over 10 years until his disease of Cancer took him from his work. His family was most important to him. He was a loving, caring, and very giving husband to Eileen, his children, niece, friends and family closest to him. He enjoyed the little things in life: gatherings at his home with friends and family, BBQs, rides to Lockport, bonfires at his niece's, Drinks on the patio, being in the company of others is what he loved. Byron had one wish before his time ended here on earth, to go to Vancouver and see the mountains like he and his sister Rose used to. His Wish Came True , Christine took him through the mountains one last time in August 2008... Thanks to Les Collett. He will be deeply missed and cherished by his wife, daughter, sons, niece, son-in-law, family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Transcona Funeral Home. Transcona Funeral Home 1800 Day Street, Winnipeg, MB R2C 1E8.
