ELSIE SCHETTLER 1910 - 2008 It is with sadness that we announce that Elsie passed away on October 23, 2008 at Middlechurch Home at 98 years old after a long, healthy, active and full life. She will be forever remembered and missed by her son Dennis (Joan), her daughter-in-law Charlene and her grandchildren, Jason, Joel, Jacqueline (Mark Freeman), Jennifer (Al Hopkins) and Jamie. She was predeceased by both her beloved husband and son, Jack in 1986 and Les in 1999. A celebration of Elsie's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 31, 2008 at the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB. Rev. Susan Butler-Jones officiating. There will be a reception immediately after the service with interment later in the afternoon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, Seven Oaks Hospital or a charity of your choice. The family thanks all the relatives, friends and caregivers of Winnipeg Regional Healthy Authority, Seven Oaks Hospital and Middlechurch Home for the compassionate care and kindness provided to Elsie during the last period of her life.
