FRANCISCO DUMAUA June 30, 1952 - October 27, 2008 With his family by his side, Francisco passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on October 27, 2008 at the age of 56 years. Francisco leaves to cherish his memory his wife Aurea, son Allyson, mother Segundina, brothers Edwin and family, Reomable Jr. and family, Reodina and family in the Philippines, Mayvelyn, Phoebe Navas and family of Missouri and Dante Coloma and family of Toronto. He was predeceased by his son Francis (Carlo) in 2001 and father Reomable Sr. Francisco was born in Isabela, Philippines. He pursued his education by attending The University of the East where he achieved his BSc. in Business Administration. He also attended Ortanez University to become an instructor in computer programming in 1975. Francisco met his wife before leaving the Philippines. In 1976 he attended Herzing institute where he had completed the course of study in Data Entry and Keypunch operations. In 1977 he attended Red River Community College to pursue computer programming. He was known through out the community as a friend and advisor. In 2001 he became the president of the Filipino Seniors Group of Winnipeg to fill his leadership role again. His qualities grew in the Filipino community, thus his character was noticed by the provincial government of Manitoba. He was an advisor to several political figures in this city of Winnipeg. In 2005 he was appointed a Commissioner of Oaths. He was part of the North End Community Renewal Corporation in the Cultural sector. Lamay will be held on Thursday and Friday, November 6th and 7th from 6:00 p.m. to midnight at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Funeral Service will he held on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 181 Austin Street with Father Vicente Tungolh officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
