Mavis was born in Transcona on March 12, 1922. Mavis was predeceased by her husband Roy Chapman; her parents, Robert and Dorothy Walker; her brothers, Robert Walker and Douglas Walker; and her sister and Lillian Guenther. She is survived by her sisters, Marion Keys and Dorothy Wold.
