DAVID FIFI Unexpectedly, on November 6, 2008 in Thompson MB, the love of my life, David passed away. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Lila, son Ryan, and daughter Amanda and a shitload' of extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his son Scott, father Ken and niece Jenny. David was born in Trinidad and at a young age with his extended family immigrated to Canada, living most of his life in Winnipeg. David was well known for his passion for iron work, meticulous mechanical hobbies, and artistic skills. He had a quirky goofiness with a well known chuckle whaaaat or famous words that's the way it is and that's it . David never knew his own worth because everyone else came first. His wife and children were number 1. He loved to: * spoil Lila and take on haus frau' duties to please the wife * work with Amanda in the garage tinkering with vehicles * spend time with Ryan at his lake home to renovate and fish * spend time with brother Colin working on trikes * share his corny humor just like his dad * veg' on the sofa and cuddle with his favourite friend Harley' Anyone who knew David knew he lived life the hard way'. With every crossroad he encountered he just became kinder. His tough exterior did not hide his sensitive nature. His particular tenderness for children and anyone in a tough spot was just him. The last few years he enjoyed a family vacation in Las Vegas and most recently a wonderful European Trip. His journey was too short but he has blessed those lives he has touched. Love ya, Li In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, R3T 0R3. A celebration of David's life will be held Thursday, November 13, at 10:00 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Home. Arrangements entrusted to: KLASSEN FUNERAL HOME 1897 Henderson Hwy. - 338-0331 Send expressions of sympathy at www.mem.com.
