Mom, although it has been twenty years since I saw you last not a day goes by without cherished memories of the past. I dearly miss your friendly smile and warm generous nature. You touched the hearts of many but you left precious footprints on mine, and I follow those footprints everyday in nurturing my children with the same love and kindness you gave to me. You are Nana Angel to your grandchildren Matthew and Nicole, both of whom I know you would have loved so dearly, and live in their hearts through memories and stories I share. You showed me that life is a special gift and yours was rich with love and family, two things you always held so dear. One could only hope to leave a lasting impression on others as you did. You are lovingly remembered and forever in my heart - Carla.
