Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLY PROCTOR On Friday, November 21, 2008 our Mother, Grandmother and Oldema, Lilly May (Aune) Proctor closed her eyes for the last time at Rosewood Lodge, Stonewall and went to join our Dad, Bud Proctor. Lilly was born May 27, 1925 in Carman, MB. She was the tenth of thirteen children born to Ludwig and Anna Aune of Elm Creek. She worked at T.Eaton Mail Order Department until taking Normal School and become a teacher. In 1947 she married Bud Proctor of Woodlands and resided in Woodlands until 1999. They moved to Winnipeg for a couple of years. After Bud passed away on November 22, 2002 she became a resident of Rosewood Lodge in Stonewall. Lilly was an original and life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion # 248, a founding member of the Stonewall Association of Community Living and Arris Centre, Stonewall; a founding member of the Manitoba Genealogical Society, a founding member of the Woodlands Oak Park Lodge and past member of the Woodlands Curling Club. Lilly is survived by two daughters and two sons Luanna Kotelko of Whitehorse, YK, Audrey (Grant) Lucier of Winnipeg, Alan (Tammy) Proctor of Calgary, AB and Paul Proctor of Stonewall, MB; nine grandchildren Rhonda Kotelko of Whitehorse, YK, Nadine (Chris) Kafka of Whitehorse, YK, Trish (Rui) Goncalves of Winnipeg, Shaylene Lucier (Chris Mikolash) of Winnipeg, Ginette Lucier (Marvin Lockhart) of Winnipeg, Cody Lucier of Winnipeg, Treasure, Naomi and Blair Proctor of Calgary; 10 great grandchildren Jai, Kasi and Von Kafka-Kotelko of Whitehorse; Matthew, Kristopher and Nicholas Goncalves of Winnipeg, Alexia and Katerina Lucier of Winnipeg, Taylor and Kane Lockhart of Winnipeg; brother Dempsey (Sophie) Aune of Winnipeg; sister Violet Porteous of Woodlands; sisters-in-law Ruth Aune of Carman, MB, Ellen Aune of Winnipeg, Iris Aune of Edmonton, Berta Sinclair of Woodlands, Olive Proctor of Winnipeg and Jean Proctor of Woodlands; and numerous nieces and nephews. We would like to thank the staff of Rosewood Lodge for all their dedication and support during the last five years. She greatly appreciated them and they loved her humour and wit. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Association of Community Living, Interlake Branch, Box 1222, Stonewall, MB, R0C 2Z0. Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 24 at 1:00 p.m. at the Woodlands Community Hall. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
