JOEL MEYER Peacefully at his residence on Sunday, November 23, 2008, Mr. Joël Meyer of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba passed away at the age of 34 years. He leaves to mourn his loving parents Auguste Meyer and Odile (nee Bellec); four brothers, Gilles (Michelle), Marc (Jackie), Guy (Judy) and René Meyer; two nieces, Ashley and Maegan; and numerous uncles and aunts, cousins, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father René in 1979; and by one brother Roger in 1987. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Léon Mubikayi officiating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Manitoba Schizophrenia Society, 100-4 Fort Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 1C4.
