DERECK FLETCHER June 21, 1985 - November 27, 2008 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our 23 year old son Dereck November 27, 2008 at St Boniface Hospital. He is at peace now and out of pain, but not before being tortured for one and a half years by the evilest disease on this planet CANCER. We cannot say enough about how wonderful Cancer Care Manitoba and St Boniface Hospital were to help him through this. These people are unbelievable. Left to remember and cherish him forever is Mom, Donna, Dad, Pat; sisters, Crystal, Angela and Dawn; his Grandma, and way too many friends and relatives to list. He is best known for his smiling friendly face at Rona Home Customer service, where he became a RONA AGP Champion. DERECK step forward now, you've borne your burdens well. Walk peacefully on heavens streets; you've done your time in hell suffering from this horrible disease. In lieu of flowers donate to Cancer Care Manitoba in Dereck's name. We need to find a cure. A celebration of Dereck's life will be held on Monday, December 1st at 1:00 p.m. at Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Ave. West.
