VICTOR MERVYN FERRIS Born May 23, 1955; Passed away suddenly on December 1, 2008. He was 53. Predeceased by his parents Mervyn and Violet Ferris of Dauphin, MB. He is survived by his sisters Evelyn Nicholls of Portage la Prairie, MB, and Karen Somborski of Winnipeg, MB. Victor graduated school in Dauphin in 1973, and moved to Winnipeg where he worked in the construction industry. He enjoyed watching and betting on sports of any kind and also enjoyed reading. He lived his life on his own terms. I'm just a poor wayfaring stranger Travelling through this world of woe Yet there's no sickness, no toil, no danger In the bright land to which I go. I'm going there to see my father Who's gone before me, no more to roam I'm just going over to Jordan I'm only going home.
