Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTEPHANE ROBERT LEISCHNER It is with tremendous shock and sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Stephane Leischner on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at the age of 19 years. Left to remember and cherish Stephane are his parents Calvin and Marie-Claude; his brother Chris, of Winnipeg; his sister Laurie and niece Kiarra; his grandparents Melvin and Edna of Calgary, Fernand and Yvette Goffinet of Toulouse, France; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends. Stephane attended school in St. James. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and was a passionate football player, participating from the age of nine to eighteen for the St. James Rods and the Sturgeon Creek Schooners. Stephane had a huge heart and a quiet nature. He was always willing to lend a hand when needed and was well respected by teammates, co-workers and friends. A celebration of Stephane's life will be held Monday, December 8, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Assiniboia Christian Centre, 3390 Portage Avenue at Rouge Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stephane's memory to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Canada or a charity of your choice.
