Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER MATYSIAK OCTOBER 21, 1923 NOVEMBER 22, 2008 With great sadness we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather. Walter is survived by Magdalena his loving wife of 61 years, his sons; Heinz and Werner, grandchildren; Maggie-Rae of Winnipeg, Jonathan and wife Khrisanne of Chicago, Dr. Arnolf Moller and many nieces and nephews in Germany. Walter was born in Lagow, Kreis Oststernberg, Germany (now Poland), served in the Navy and emigrated to Winnipeg in 1956. He worked in the clothing industry as a respected and talented designer with Sterling Stall. He retired to Kelowna in 1990 where he enjoyed gardening and designing clothing. Walter will be remembered for his dedication, hard work and generosity to his family, friends and neighbours.
