ANNE LOEWEN Anne Loewen, aged 88 years of Altona, MB and formerly of Gretna, MB, passed away at Eastview Place, Altona, MB, on December 18, 2008. Anne is lovingly remembered by her children Esther Rempel, Gladys (Wally) Wencek, Brian (Grace) Loewen, Sandra (Harvy) Frankel; ten grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Jim E. Loewen and son-in-law Gerry Rempel. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from the Bergthaler Mennonite Church in Altona, MB with interment to follow in the Gretna Cemetery. Viewing will be held at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Sunday, December 21 and Monday, December 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
