RICHARD (DICK) L. TAYLOR With his wife by his bedside, Dick passed away peacefully in the early morning of December 18, 2008 at the Poseidon Care Centre, after a valiant struggle with pneumonia. Dick was predeceased by his parents and sister. Dick will be lovingly missed by his wife Jean of 42 years. For over 40 years, Dick had his own building contracting business at Grand Beach, servicing that general cottage area. When illness forced him to take it easy, he spent many happy summers at our cottage sharing his expertise with all. Dick had a kind heart, a gentle spirit and a great sense of humour. Respecting Dick's wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. Special thanks to all the staff on the 2nd floor of the Poseidon Care Centre for their kindness and care not only during Dick's stay but during the last days of Dick's life.
